Cultural Event: Looking Ahead in American Foreign Policy

The Ferris State University Office of International Education and the Wold Affairs Council of Western Michigan will be hosting speaker Ambassador Ronald E. Neumann on Tuesday, March 14th from 1:30 to 3:00pm in Business 111. Ronald E. Neumann is the former U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan, Bahrain, and Algeria and is the President of the American Academy of Diplomacy and his talk is entitled “Looking Ahead in American Foreign Policy.” Below is a short description of the event.

“Join us for a frank discussion on American foreign policy with career Ambassador Ronald E. Neumann. He’s on a listening tour to hear about the concerns Americans have regarding world affairs. With decades of diplomatic experience, he will also give the real scoop on working on the front lines in the Foreign Service. Complementing the discussion will be a screening of “America’s Diplomats,” which highlights the stories, sacrifices, and triumphs of diplomats.
