Like all cultures, the culture of disability has adopted a common language to empower its members, as well as identified that is hurtful. Tommy teaches others about using language that is inclusive, as well as not making assumptions about others. Examples of this will be discussed, as well as many other ways to promote a culture of sensitivity and build an inclusive campus climate at Ferris.
