During the week of May 1-6th, Immanuel Lutheran Church will be collecting all the stuff students don’t want to take back home with them. Bins will be located in the Res Hall to collect things like cleaning products, clothing, furniture, and anything else left behind.

Volunteers are need to collect the items daily and bring them to the church. From there, these items will be distributed to local agencies in the Mecosta-Osceola Counties. For example, Salvation Army may be interested in cleaning supplies and cloths. Project Starburst may collect non-parishable food items and Our Brother’s Keeper may collect bedding for their shelter.

Students who are interested in helping with this initiative will need to contact Julie VanHala at by April 19th. Time slots can be found on the sign up sheet on the Volunteer Center’s Orgsync page.
