Rock the Block is a large street fair with vendors, resources, and entertainment – a place where residents can listen to great bands, sample local food, connect with local non-profits and businesses and they are looking for volunteers. Shifts in which volunteers can sign up are Saturday, June 10th from 7:00am to 9:00am, 9:00am to 11:00am, 11:00am to 1:00pm, 1:00pm to 3:00pm, 3:00pm to 5:00pm, and 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Volunteers should arrive 15 minutes before the shift begins and it is recommended to wear shorts or pants and comfortable shoes (don’t forget your sunscreen, hat and water bottle). T-shirts will be provided when you check in. They will need volunteers to help with the KidZone Bounce House, Kidzone Entrance/Exit, KidZone Carnival Games, facilities/maintenance, man the Volunteer Tent and Cool Off Tent, for general support and for set up and tear down.
