Volunteers play a vital role in supporting the patient by providing relief for the caregiver, friendly visits, music (vocal and instrumental), life story review, haircuts and much more. You can help reassure an end-of-life patient that someone in their community cares about them. Hospice supports patients in a wide geographic area research 9 counties. Spectrum Health volunteers select the geographic area that they would like to serve. Additional volunteers are especially needed for Mecosta, Newaygo, and Osceola county areas.

If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, please contact Yvonne Elliott at or call 616-391-4240.
