CLACS is in need of volunteers to help with the annual Bulldogs in Action program, which occurs on Residence Hall Move-In on Friday, August 25th. This is a great opportunity for you or your organization to earn volunteer hours by welcoming and assisting incoming students.

As a volunteer, you will assist with carrying belongings from the student/family vehicles to the new student’s room. You will also answer questions that the student or family has about Ferris State University. Volunteers will receive a FREE Bulldogs in Action t-shirt to identify you as part of the Bulldog Team! It is expected that as a volunteer you:

  • Attend the mandatory training session on Thursday, August 24th at 7pm in Cramer Hall
  • Sign in and out at your designated hall, staying for the duration of your shift
  • Be helpful
  • Have a positive attitude and school spirit which you promote your organization and get new incoming students excited about Ferris State!

You will be asked to select at least 3 shifts (6 hours total) that you would be available to volunteer. Shifts are from 8am to 10am, 10am to 12pm, 12pm to 2pm, 2pm to 4pm, and 4pm to 6pm on Friday, August 24th.

To sign up please fill out their form before Monday, August 7th. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact lisaortiz@ferris.edu.
