Honors student, Tania Gonzalez, graduated spring 2017 with a BS in Nursing. Before leaving to move on to bigger and better things, she had this to say about her experience with the commitments of the Honors Program:

“Honors has given me the opportunity to grow as an individual and to explore what the university has to offer. Attending multiple cultural events throughout my time here at Ferris has expanded my knowledge relating to everything that is available to students. I enjoyed learning about different cultures, as well as giving back to the community through volunteer work. Critical thinking is a skill that I developed through my honors courses and I have further used it as a nursing student.

Overall, the honors program has motivated me to test and exceed my limits, maintain a high GPA, become involved on campus, step out of my comfort zone, has given me an opportunity to serve as an example to others, and most importantly, to succeed.”

Thank you, Tania, for your contribution to the program and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors!
