The Political Engagement Project will be hosting a panel on Wednesday, November 15th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm in BUS 111 on the topic of Gerrymandering. Gerrymandering is the manipulation of electoral boundaries for the political advantage of one party/coalition even when it defies other more natural boundaries like those of local authorities. The panel will include Ferris State University faculty Christian Peterson with a historical prospective, Anil Venkatesh with the math of gerrymandering, and a representative from a non-profit group, Voters Not Politicians.
