Cultural Event: MLK Freedom March and Student Tribute

As part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, the Office of Multicultural Student Services will be hosting two events on Monday, January 15th. The first is the 32nd Annual Freedom March which will take place from 4:00-5:00pm starting at the University Center Rankin Atrium. The Freedom March aims to commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. King on his day. Following the March will be remarks from campus leadership, recognition of the MLK Student Legacy Award winners and light refreshments.

The second event will be the 32nd Annual Student Tribute from 6:00-7:30pm in the University Center 202. The Student Tribute is an opportunity for Ferris students to present a variety of presentations that honor the life’s work of Dr. King, as well as highlight social justice issues of today.
