Deb Savides will be hosting a Lunch and Learn on Thursday, February 22nd entitled “Michigan History” During her presentation, Deb will discuss the many facets of the state of Michigan and how it has grown and changed throughout the years . Below is a short description of her presentation:

Michigan has a long and rich history. From the glacial movement that gave us so much natural beauty to the Rosy the Riveter and beyond, Michigan has had a huge impact on the Midwest and the nation as a whole. Its progressive constitutions, stalwart citizens, and contribution to the country through mining and manufacturing make this a state that you can be proud to live in. As Abraham Lincoln said,

Thank God for Michigan

To learn more and ask questions, please join us for the Lunch and Learn on Thursday, February 22nd from 11:00am until 11:50am in Pickell Hall. As usual, pizza from Jets pizza will be provided for those who sign-up beforehand. Please make sure to sign up before noon on Wednesday, February 21st by emailing honors@ferris.edu
