“The Cure for Us” Cultural Event

As part of the Festival of the Arts, Artworks Intimate Theater is presenting The Cure for Us on Thursday, February 22nd through 24th at 7:30pm and Sunday, February 25th at 2:30PM at Artworks. The Cure for Us is Christopher Kesting’s first original place and features an All-Star cast of local talent including: Grand Award nominee and long time Actor’s Theater alum RoseAnne Shansky; stage, screen and television actor Zackary Krebs; STAGE-M and Artworks Intimate Theater veterans Kelley Samuels-Goode, Jamie Samuels, Cheryl Courtney and Jacob Swanson.

Every family has secrets; and the Stonier Family is about to have all of their exposed in a single afternoon. Written and directed by local author Christopher Kesting, The Cure for Us is an intimate contemporary drama about confession, redemption and forgiveness. This edgy story explores the complex bonds between siblings and the unconditional love of parents; while shining a reluctant yet hopeful spotlight into the shadows that lurk in the corners of all our childhood attics.
