Honors Students Present at MEHA Conference

Three honors students traveled to Columbus, Ohio with Peter Bradley and Cathy Bordeau for the Mid-East Honors Association conference last weekend. Arianna Lozano presented her poster “Who has the Right to Put the Elder in a Nursing Home,” Aaron VanderWoude presented a poster co-authored with Robin Spielberger entitled “Bioactive Compounds from the Freshwater Sponge Epydatia Fluviatilis: Metabolite Extraction and Antibiotic Potential,” and Brandon Milby presented his paper “The Cultural Significance of Sociopathy.” We are proud of their work!

Each year, the Honors Program encourages students to submit proposals for the MEHA conference and pays for their registration and travel expenses. Proposals may be based on coursework, including honors contracts. For more information on submitting a proposal for next year’s conference, contact Cathy at CathyBordeau@ferris.edu.
