Spring Cleaning with the Public Health Student Association Volunteer Opportunity

The Public Health Student Association is hosting a spring cleaning by collecting cigarette butts from the grounds of campus as part of National Public Health Week. They will be picking up cigarette butts on April 11th from 9:00am to 7:00pm. Cigarrette butts cause 1.69 billion tons of toxic waste each year! You can get volunteer hours and make a huge difference for our campus and environment by volunteering for this event. Check in for volunteers will be Andrews Pond in the back of VFS for gloves, trash bags, t-shirts, prizes and refreshments at any time throughout the day.

To sign up to participate, please fill out their sign up sheet. If you are in favor of a tobacco-free campus, please sign their petition.
