UReCA Submissions Needed

UReCA, the NCHC web journal of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity, is seeking submissions from all currently enrolled undergraduate students. Below are topics in which they would like submissions about:

  • Science and Technology
  • Business and Commerce
  • Health and Professional Sciences
  • Humanities
  • Social Sciences
  • Honors Education
  • Video and Audio
  • Visual Art
  • Essays
  • Fiction
  • Poetry

Works submitted may be works produced for classes or work produced outside of a classroom environment. Undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in any college or university are eligible to submit. Works much be a maximum of 15 pages double-spaced and are due by August 10th. Submissions will be reviewed and approved and are subject to a double-blind peer review process. Do not include your name or college affiliation or other identifying information within your work. Only provide this information within the appropriate fields on the submission form that can be found here. A decision to accept/reject will be made and decisions to accept may be accompanies by a request for revisions before a final decision is made. UReCA will acquire first World electronic rights but the copyright remains with the creator. All print rights remain with the author but mention of UReCA as the first publisher is requested if subsequently published in print.

More specifically, presentations should be in the style of your specific field. Images that accompany the text or other images should be of sufficient  quality to display online at the size desired. A minimum of 72 dpi is acceptable.
