Recruiting Camp Newaygo Service Retreat Facilitator

Camp Newaygo is holding a service retreat from the afternoon of October 26 through the afternoon of October 28 and is looking for an honors student who can serve as a facilitator for a group of 22 Ferris student volunteers. The facilitator would collaborate with Camp Newaygo staff in contacting volunteers, informing them of what they need to bring, and establishing a rendezvous point for transportation.

Camp Newaygo will provide transportation to and from Ferris, lodging, and meals for up to 22 students for the weekend. Students will volunteer in the afternoons assisting with a variety of activities for families like pumpkin painting, spooky cabin tours, and scarecrow building. In the mornings, students will be able to relax and study.

If you are interested in serving as a student leader, please contact Cathy at by Friday, October 5. This would count for your leadership commitment.
