Join Rita Frumento Damari, M.A, M Ed., to learn about research on the science of happiness, including questions such as

  • What is the meaning of happiness?
  • Do my thoughts affect how happy I am?
  • Is it possible to become happier?
  • Is there really a “happily ever after?”

Just as a science lab makes concepts come to life through practical, hands-on experiments, this emotional literacy lab explores the roots of a happy and meaningful life in a reflective and interactive way. Participants will engage with some of the most provocative and practical lessons from the trail blazing science of positive psychology and discover how to apply researched practices to their own lives. Damari will discuss practical and research-tested activities for tapping into and nurturing your own happiness and insight into fostering your own social and emotional well-being.

Share this event on Facebook and Twitter. We hope you can make it!Cheers,The Honors Program at Ferris State University
