A Celebration of Indigenous Culture

Join OMSS in the Celebration of Indigenous Culture on Thursday, November 1st in West Campus Community Center.

Dia de los Muertos  starts at 10:00AM and ends at 2:00PM. This will be hosted by the Spanish Department and then Spanish Club with guest speakers will include Hilsa King and Alma Suarez.

Native American Drum Workshop will start at 2:30PM and ends at 5:00PM. This portion of the event will be hosted by Circle of Tribal Nations with guest facilitator Frank Sprague of Gun Lake Potawatomi Tribe.

Native American Ghost Supper will be held at 5:30PM and end at 8:00PM. Hosted by the Circle of Tribal Nations with guest Bill and Nancy Fuchs.


This fun and exciting event will be seen as a cultural event. Don’t forget to enter the event in on HonorsPath!
