Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!
Here’s what’s new in Honors:
Lunch and Learns
Thursday, January 24 11 – 11:50 AM, Pickell Conference Room: How to Gain Clinical Experience as a Medical Scribe. Learn how you can receive free training and get a part-time job as a medical scribe with flexible hours to accommodate your class schedule.
As always, we will serve Jet’s pizza. It is fine if you arrive a little late or leave a little early. Please register here.
We have scheduled a series of meetings by class in which Dr. Bradley will share information to help students stay on track to graduate and answer any questions you may have:
- Fourth-year honors students and anyone who may be finishing this semester: Tuesday, January 22 from 11 to 11:50 in Science 120
- Second-year Honors students: Thursday, January 24 from 11 to 11:50 in Science 102
- Third-year Honors students or anyone who is one year away from finishing: Tuesday, January 29 from 11 to 11:50 in Science 120
We understand that you may have class right before or right after; it is fine to arrive late or leave early. You are also welcome to work individually with Cathy at any time for help with anything related to the Honors Program.
If you have any questions or need special accommodations, please contact our office at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 231-591-2216.
Tell Cathy About Your Leadership!
Cathy has the opportunity to nominate students for leadership awards on campus, but she doesn’t always know everything honors students are doing. If you would like to be nominated for leadership awards, please email her at CathyBordeau@ferris.edu and tell her about your accomplishments.
If you choose to do an honors contract this semester, it will be due by February 1. You will find the electronic form for honors contracts on Honors Path.
Never been on Honors Path? You will find it on MyFSU on the Student tab under Life@FSU and Student Training Resources—if you’ve never been on, start by clicking Profile and Update Now.
Have a great week!
