ABOUT THE CONCERT
Come join the Ferris Concert Bands and Orchestra for their annual Winter Concert in celebration of Big Rapid’s renowned Festival of the Arts. This year’s concert features music that’s sure to delight the inner child in all of us. From cartoon music to classical hits, from the symphonic stage to the Silver Screen, from Harry Potter to Henry Mancini, and from marches on the street to operas on high, this concert is a veritable microcosm of popular melodies from all ages, “for kids of all ages,” with more than 60 recognizable tunes to hum along with!
Besides our Symphony of Toys (really, toys!), our main event will be the full (and fun!) production of “Peter and the Wolf,” featuring national radio celebrity, John Clare.
Come early to Williams Auditorium for great parking, a “Musical Instrument Petting Zoo” (starting at 2:00), and entertainment in the lobby by Bee Bee Clown, before and after the concert.
