Lunch and Learn: Study Abroad in Scotland

On Thursday, October 3 at 11 AM in Pickell, Lilia Caserta will discuss the opportunity for Ferris students to satisfy general education requirements while traveling in Scotland as well as the benefits of study abroad. As she explains, “we travel to Edinburg, ancient city of North England. There we visit Edinburg castle to learn about Scottish history and two Royal dynasties: Stuart and Tudor. We have a historic tour of the city and learn how Edinburg was established, and how it influenced the modern literature phenomena of ‘Harry Potter’. Our second destination is a small town of St. Andrew, which has one of the oldest Universities, an ancient castle and oldest golf course in the world. We stay at St. Andrew University to experience college life, play golf, visit beaches, learn about English history and culture.”

We will serve pizza from Jet’s. It is fine to arrive a little late or leave a little early. If you need accommodations to attend, please contact us at honors@ferris.edu or 231-591-2216. Please sign up here.
