Honors students should plan to make progress toward their total honors credits each semester by taking an honors course, doing an honors contract, or doing study abroad.

If you do not need any of the honors courses offered or if they don’t fit your schedule, you might want to do an honors contract. You will find more information here,

You may also want to consider doing a study abroad course. Ferris offers many study abroad courses that satisfy general education requirements between May and August. Look for an announcement on the courses offered this summer on October 15 here.

Your honors advisor, Cathy Bordeau, is available for help planning your honors curriculum. You can reach her at CathyBordeau@ferris.edu or 231-591-2811. She has walk-in hours in Henderson Mondays and Wednesdays 3 – 4 and in Pickell Mondays through Thursdays 4 – 5. She also has a lot of availability at other times all through the week.
