Keri Frahm studied abroad in Paris and Italy where she took a variety of classes. She met and worked with tons of peers from so many different countries. Her program was specifically set up so half of her class were international students and the other half were made up of Dutch Students. This encouraged and pushed them to interact and learn how to overcome any language barriers in order to accomplish their goals.
“I can honestly say that I am definitely more independent and much more open-minded during group discussions because of the situations I came across while working with people from around the world. I know that these experiences will help me with my work this next semester.”
She looks forward to using what she’s learned about overcoming any barriers and working with more students from different countries through her job as a supervisor for Grand Lake Lodge in CO.
