Ferris is hosting a FIRST Robotics District event and they are looking for volunteers. The Robotics competition will be held the last weekend of March in Wink Arena. Wednesday, March 25th and Thursday, March 26th from 5-10 p.m., they are looking for volunteers to help set up the competition area. On Friday, March 27th and Saturday, March 28th, they are looking for volunteers to reset the field between matches, help hand out safety glasses, and keep track of when teams are supposed to be in certain places among other roles. They will also need help tearing down the field and packing everything into a trailer Saturday night after the competition.
