Virtual Cultural Event: "Mindfulness, Healing, and Wisdom in the Time of Covid-19"

Jon Kabat-Zinn, a professor of medicine emeritus and founder of the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, will be giving a talk entitled “Not Losing Our Minds and Hearts When We Most Need Them: Mindfulness, Healing and Wisdom in the Time of Covid-19” on Wednesday, March 25 at 4 PM Eastern Time. He will address how we can respond wisely and purposefully as we go through these times.

If you cannot attend the free livestream on Wednesday at 4 PM, you can still view the video of the session. To receive a link to attend the livestream or view the video, sign up on Eventbrite here.

You can use this for your cultural event commitment in the Honors Program! After attending the livestream or watching the video, talk about it with someone (a friend, family member, etc.) and then fill out the cultural event form on Honors Path, including the reflection portion.
