-Are you looking for ways to connect with fellow students locally and globally? Do you want to learn more about the sustainability challenges that the world is facing? The Office of International Education (OIE) invites you to join the Global Engagement e-Certificate Program!
This 10-week co-curricular program will bring students from around the world together to have critical discussions on global issues surrounding sustainability. You will have the chance to develop intercultural competency, learn more about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, meet new friends from around the world, and gain confidence in having difficult discussions on complex issues. If all program requirements are met, you’ll have the opportunity to earn a co-curricular e-Certificate. *This program does not provide academic credits and does not constitute a class taken at Ferris.
If you are interested in signing up, please fill out the following form with your contact information: https://forms.gle/o2KrH8AqEjPdcUDb9.
If you have any questions, please email Megan Hauser-Tran at MeganHauserTran@ferris.edu.
Anyone with a disability that needs special accommodations to participate in this program should contact the Office of International Education at (231) 591-2450 or firstname.lastname@example.org at least 72 hours in advance.
The Global Engagement e-Certificate Program is an excellent option for the Structured Honors Experience, in which honors students do one large co-curricular project in place of cultural events and service for the semester. If you would like more information on this option, contact Cathy at CathyBordeau@ferris.edu or 231-591-2216.
