Present Your Student Research at a National Honors Conference in Orlando!

One of the perks of being an honors student at Ferris is that we will pay for your attendance at an honors conference if you are doing a presentation! We encourage you to submit a proposal for the National Collegiate Honors Council’s conference, which will be held October 27 – 31, 2021, in Orlando, Florida.

The NCHC conference has a student poster session at which students may present original research or fine art. Research must be presented in the form of a standard poster. Students wishing to participate in the poster session will submit an abstract that summarizes their research, including outcomes. In addition, abstracts should clearly state the significance of the project. Preference is given to completed research. Research may be in many different fields. You can see the full proposal guidelines here.

If you would like to submit a proposal, the first step is to contact the Honors Program at Ferris at honors@ferris.edu. We will help you prepare your proposal. The deadline to submit a conference proposal is April 16, 2021.

Dr. Bradley will be at the conference, and our office will arrange for travel for any student presenters as long as Ferris allows for travel given Covid guidelines.
