Ready for Life Service Opportunity

The Ready for Life Academy at Ferris is recruiting volunteer mentors for Fall 2021. Ready for Life is a two-year post-secondary program for adults aged 18 – 26 with a developmental disability. The program provides students with college experience while teaching them the skills they will need to obtain paid employment and live independently.

To learn more about serving as a volunteer mentor in this program, please contact Sandy Baker at sandy.baker@rflnetwork.org or 231-750-1205.

Being a mentor will count for service hours in the Honors Program and could also be a great Structured Honors Experience, which counts for both service and cultural events for the semester. For more information on how a Structured Honors Experience works, please contact Cathy at CathyBordeau@ferris.edu.
