The Honors Program office has two open work-study positions:
Honors Program Graphic Design Specialist
– $9.65 – $10.25
Honors Program Graphic Design Specialist will design and produce promotion materials for use on-campus as well as on-line. This position requires students to produce signs, graphic images, and other related materials. Applicants must have photo editing, page layout, and illustration software skills, be proficient on computers, and also be reliable and production-oriented. A keen understanding of copyright and creative-commons licensing is required. A sample of work will be requested.
Honors Programming Coordinator
– $9.65 – $9.95
The Honors Programming Coordinator leads the organization of events for the Honors community, including acting as a liaison between the Honors programming board and the Honors office. Applicants must have strong organizational skills and be able to rally volunteer students to a cause. Skills important to this position are communication, being able to work independently, and enthusiasm for the mission of Honors.
In addition to the core duties, the positions include general office work, such as greeting visitors, answering the phone, and doing social media posts.
