The Grand River Cleanup is an annual cleanup hosted by the West Michigan Environmental Action Council is a great opportunity to volunteer, cleanup our state, and meet new people. With an anticipated attendance of 1,000 volunteers this is going to be a large and exciting service project you don’t want to pass up. The event will occur at Sixth Street Park Saturday, September 20th at 9:30am. For more information visit their website.
If you would like to participate in the Grand River Cleanup please send a RSVP email to Jacob Pollock (honorsvista@ferris.edu). If enough interested is shown a van will be provided to transport students to the event.
