The Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor is hosting a conference, Policy Innovation: How to be an Effective Agent of Change, for students at the freshman and sophomore level. The conference is designed to help students who are early in their college experience to gain information and insight into how they can begin preparing for careers in public service, including working with the federal, state, or local governments, non-profit organizations as well as international organizations.
The conference will be held Friday, February 3rd and Saturday, February 4th at the Ford School of Public Policy and will include a policy simulation, a hands-on service project, panels with graduate students and faculty of the Ford School as well as social activities. All costs are covered by the Ford School.
