OAK HARBOR, Wash. (April 23, 2010) Sailors assigned to the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit Whidbey Island collect trash in the Saratoga Heights housing area during the Great American Clean Up. Approximately 300 people representing Forest City Military Communities, Navy Whidbey Recycle and Naval Air Station Whidbey Island tenant commands participated in the event, conducting clean-ups in military housing communities around the area and the Naval Air Station Whidbey Island Seaplane Base. CLACS is hosting the B1G Alleyway Clean Up on Saturday, September 9th as part of Bulldog Beginnings. This service event will take place from 11am to 2pm and will involve helping clean up alleys in Big Rapids near and off-campus student housing. This is a great way to give back to the community you live in and earn service hours!
