MSU religious scholar Dr. Mohammad Khalil to speak on “Islam: What Everyone Should Know” – Thursday, 10/17 at 7pm in Science Building Room 126
Dr. Mohammad Khalil, Associate Professor of Religious Studies, Adjunct Professor of Law, and Interim Director, Muslim Studies Program, Michigan State University, will give a public lecture entitled “Islam: What Everyone Should Know” on Thursday, October 17 at 7pm in Science Building Room 126. A brief reception with light refreshments will precede the lecture at 6:30, also at Science 126.
In his lecture, Dr. Khalil will discuss the history and traditions of Islam, and how they connect with other religions, and take questions from the audience.
This event is co-sponsored by the Big Rapids Community Library, the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning, FLITE, and the Saudi Student Organization.
