Logan Bixman and Nicole Christy, Outstanding Leaders

Logan Bixman – Nominated by four different individuals, Logan is cited as a ‘role model,’ by a number of them.  They all mention that she will go out of her way to help other students, even those for whom she is not a peer mentor. Logan holds a leadership role in a number of student clubs, including editing The Endeavor, the Honors program’s student-run newspaper, Ferris Idols, our Honors Student Council, the Honors Programming Board and she currently serves as the President of the Equestrian Club. She is also one of three student representatives to Honors Council.

Nicole Christy – Nicole Christy was nominated as “the driving force that made all Honors events happen.”  Last year, as president of the Honors Programming Board, she lead the discussions that produced our current governance structure of the Honors Student Association and Honors Student Council—upon which she serves as Vice President. She not only works extremely hard, she also, in the words of her nominator, is “honest and humble when she forgot something or when someone credited her for the events.” Nicole has inspired and continues to inspire a good number of Honors students with her dedication to the program.
