Grand Rapids will be hosting DisArt Festival April 10-25, 2015.  This festival is an offshoot of Art Prize and comes out of a top ten award winner Chris Smit.

The goals of this festival are to educate people about the role of disability in human life, to increase the social inclusion of people with disabilities by reducing social barriers, to  honor disabilities as a natural human experience and to gain greater appreciation and understanding for the complex identities of all of us.

Dr. Tony Baker has scheduled a presentation by Chris Smit on Ferris Campus March 26th 3-4:30PM.   Other events that we are working on through the Counseling Service are promotion through their office and securing an accessible van to transport students to Grand Rapids for select presentations and events.
