NCHC and Partners in the Parks are hosting a winter weekend for Honors students to Cedar Breaks National Monument!
“Students, gear up for the new semester with the adventure of a lifetime! This project will include snowshoeing into Cedar Breaks National Monument located approximately 30 minutes from Cedar City, Utah. Participants will sleep at the Monument’s Yurt and engage in seminars, participate in snow related recreation, and gain a better prospective and love for a unique winter environment in one of our nations most treasured National Monuments.”
Date: January 15-18, 2016
Where: Cedar Breaks National Monument, Utah
Cost: $400 per registrant (includes a $50 non-refundable registration fee)

Travel Information:
“Participants can fly into the following cities: Cedar City, Utah, St. George, Utah, or Las Vegas Nevada. If flying into St. George or Las Vegas, participants will need to arrange for a shuttle to bring you to Cedar city. All participants need to arrive in Cedar City no later than noon on Friday, January 15th. Travel home can be arranged after 1pm on Monday, January 18th.”
