Richard Marble will be hosting a Lunch & Learn on Tuesday, March 21st entitled, “Animal Research.” Richard is the FSU University Laboratory Animal Faculty Coordinator and is a Registered Laboratory Animal Technologist (RLATG) and a Certified Manager of Animal Resources (CMAR). During his presentation, Rick Marble will discuss research with animals and the importance of this type of research.
He will start with a short synopsis of Nobel Prize Winning Medical Discoveries based on animal research, followed by a short video discussing the passion of these individuals for the welfare of these animals. Next, he will explain why animal research is still necessary and important and what careers are available that involve animal research. Lastly, he will leave a few minutes at the end for a Q & A.
