A few student coordinators who are making the BIG Event a reality this year will be hosting a Lunch and Learn on Tuesday, April 4th entitled “The BIG Event.” During their presentation, committee members will explain what the BIG Event is and why it is important to participate and volunteer. Below is a description of what the Lunch and Learn will cover.

“The BIG Event is the largest student-run service project in the state of Michigan, and we are very proud of all we do to give back to our community. However, we cannot do it without your help. Last year on April 16, 2016, we sent nearly 2,000 students into the Big Rapids community, armed with all of the tools necessary for them to complete the work requested by 300 homes. At the BIG Event we aim to serve as many homes as we can, but we cannot do it alone. That’s why we need YOU to volunteer for the BIG day!”
